The existence of laboratories in schools is very important to support the learning process. especially at the high school (SMA) level. There have been many studies on biology laboratory standards in several schools in Indonesia showing different results. In Indonesia, every public high school already has a laboratory, but the completeness of the equipment, use, management, and condition are not yet known. This study aims to determine and describe the standards of Biology laboratories in high schools (SMA) to support the learning process. The method used in this research is preliminary research by analyzing existing data, re-comparing, and concluding the results. The data used were obtained from several journals, books, papers, and other print media. obtained from the analysis of this data, namely; Biology laboratory standards for high school (SMA) both public and private with A and B accreditation. Still not meeting the biology laboratory standards set by the Minister of National Education No. 24 of 2007
