USABILITY TESTING UNTUK MENGUKUR PENGGUNAAN ELECTRONIC JOURNAL OLEH MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine student opinion about the usage of e-journal UNP using usability testing techniques. The research is conducted at the State University of Padang, the population are 14.343 students from 2010-2013 year and 99 students for samples, which made on July 27, 2016 until August 1, 2016. The type of research is quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique is done by simple random sampling. Data research is collected through questionnaires given to students with Likert scale that have been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the results of research indicate (1) the usage level of e-journal by 2010-2013 UNP student are good with percentage 58.59%, (2 for indicators learnability occur decreased the usage of e-journal UNP, (3) for Efficiency indicators occur decreased the usage of e-journal UNP, (4) Memorability increased the usage of e-journal UNP, (5) the indicator error occurred decreased the usage of e-journal UNP, (6) for indicators of satisfaction occur decreased the usage of e-journal UNP
