PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS ANDROID UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA SMKN 1 MUARO BUNGO

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness and describe the increase in student learning independence after using android-based learning media. The subjects of the study were students of class X TKJ 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Muaro Bungo. The instruments used were questionnaires and observations. The research method used was the research and development method. The selected development design was 10 (ten) stages from Sugiyono but simplified into 6 (six) stages. The development steps are as follows (1) Potential and Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Product Revision, and (6) Product Trial. To measure the level of feasibility of learning media products, a validation stage can be carried out by media experts and material experts. The results of the study showed that android-based learning media to increase student learning independence is very feasible to use. This is evidenced by the results of the media and material validation test with a percentage of 89.42% in the "Valid" criteria. The results of the practicality test with a percentage of 88.93 with the "Very Practical" criteria. The results of the trial of the effectiveness of android-based learning media with a percentage of 90.78% with the criteria of "Very Effective". This study concludes that the android-based learning media developed has been proven to be able to increase student learning independence by 32.76% after using learning media in basic computer and network courses
