Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Role of Sub-district Heads in the Implementation of Good Governance in Cikeusik District. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Cikeusik Sub-district has a very important role in determining the realization of Good Governance at the sub-district level, Cikeusik Sub-district in accordance with its position, duties and authorities have coordinated, fostered and supervised the implementation of government in the sub-district area has been implemented effectively and efficiently in accordance with existing regulations and carried out the implementation of government in accordance with the principles Good Governance in the Cikeusik District area, but in its implementation there are several principles of Good Governance that have not been implemented optimally because it is found that there are several obstacles or obstacles in the implementation  of Good Governance.
