This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Indonesian government's drug policy, especially according to Law Number 35 of 2009. The study using Karl Pearson data analysis techniques found a correlation value of 0.693, indicating that the policy is effective. Valid as a legal guarantee. There is a significant causal relationship to the increase in drug incidents in Indonesia. This study shows that other factors such as socio-economic and geographical aspects also play a role in drug trafficking. Although government policies are positive, research shows that evaluation and concrete solutions are needed to reduce the number of drug incidents. The limitations of this study, including incomplete samples and limited variables, are important directions for further research. This study is expected to stimulate further development of drug policy analysis in Indonesia
