EVALUASI KINERJA JALAN KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE PCI DAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (ArcGIS)

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate road performance using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Geographic Information System (ArcGIS) methods in assessing road conditions in Pandeglang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and spatial analysis with ArcGIS. The research results show that the PCI value from each survey location point varies between 55% to 85%, with Jalan KH. Abdul Halim experienced the worst condition. So spatial analysis using ArcGIS helps identify locations of road damage that need to be addressed immediately. This research concludes that the combination of PCI and ArcGIS methods can be an effective tool in planning and managing road infrastructure in Pandeglang Regency. The results of this research have significant implications for local government policies and regarding road infrastructure management. Local governments need to allocate sufficient budget for routine road maintenance, especially on roads with low PCI values. Apart from that, efforts need to be made to increase the capacity of human resources in conducting surveys and analyzing road conditions.
