Abstract

The research methodology includes hydrological analysis using probability distribution models (Normal, Log-Normal, Log Pearson Type III, and Gumbel) to estimate design rainfall intensity. Goodness-of-fit tests such as Chi-Square and Smirnov-Kolmogorov were conducted to validate the distributions. The Rational Method was used to calculate design discharge, and hydraulic analysis using the Manning formula was performed to evaluate the drainage channel capacity. The results indicated that several drainage sections were unable to accommodate peak discharge, leading to water accumulation and localized flooding.

Based on the analysis results, the Q value of the drainage channel plan is 0.144 m3/second based on the rational method calculatio,. and the existing Q value is 1.933 m3/second based on the calculation of the existing channel capacity. Thus, the channel capacity has met the requirements of SNI 1725:2016 concerning Procedures for Planning Urban Drainage Systems because the planned Q value is smaller than the existing Q value. This means that the channel can still be used.
