ANALISIS TINGKAT KERUSAKAN JALAN DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP KECEPATAN KENDARAAN

STUDI KASUS JALAN REGO KECAMATAN CADASARI KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG

Abstract

Roads are a vital land transportation framework, people will be able to move around more easily and carry out more social and economic activities. Decrease in road quality as a result of damage to road infrastructure due to frequent and heavy traffic. To find out the average vehicle speed, and the type of damage that occurs on the Rego road, Cadasari sub-district, Pandeglang regency.

The methods used in this study are the Pavement Condition Index (PCI), Surface Distress Index (SDI), and Bina Marga methods. In collecting data, researchers conducted a field survey, so that the resulting data was analyzed using these 3 methods, so that the results were obtained.

Based on the research results, it was found that most of the conditions in all segments of Jalan Rego were bad (poor) based on the results of PCI calculations. The percentage of each type of damage studied was 45.02% Cracks, 47.11% Potholes and 10.49 Ruttings based on SDI calculation results. The value of road conditions according to the total number of damages is 9, namely damage between 26 – 29. The conclusion is that the average PCI value on Jalan Rego is 26, this value indicates that the road conditions are in bad / bad condition. The average SDI value is 159, that is, the SDI value is > 150 so that the level of damage is classified as severely damaged. The priority value of the Rego road, Cadasari District, Pandeglang Regency is included in priority 5, namely the periodic maintenance program. The average speed on the Rego road is 20.54 km/hour, 21.95 km/hour, 24.56 km/hour, 22.34 km/hour, 22.22 km/hour. The level of road damage greatly affects the speed of vehicles passing through the road
