Based on the planning contractor PT. Hutama Karya that the distance between the foundation pillars is not in accordance with the theory of the requirements for pile distance of 2.5D to 3D. Based on this, the purpose of this paper is to review the planned distance between poles of 3.75D on existing conditions and distance of 2.75D on alternative conditions and compare the bearing capacity of the pole group of the two conditions. In analyzing the carrying capacity planning of this foundation using two different methods, namely the Meyerhoff method and the Reese O’Neill method. The analysis was carried out by calculating the drill pole bearing capacity using the SPT test results data at point DB-03. Judging from the pile cap used in the existing condition, it was modified from 62.4 m × 11.4 m × 3.00 m to 62.4 m × 6.9 m × 3.00 m. From the results of the analysis, it is obtained that the ultimate carrying capacity of the existing drill pile group and alternative methods using the Meyerhoff method has the same results which is equal to 47,462,012 tons. Based on these results it can be concluded that the distance between existing pile is less efficient than the distance between alternative pile because it is equally safe when the distance between poles is changed according to the existing requirements of 2.5D
