We discuss the application of the value chain concept to how hotels facilitate the connection of inputs to the value creation process to deliver goods and services to consumers. The concepts of cost management and value chain management play a crucial role in strategic management. The value chain has a positive impact on promoting hotel value by analyzing hotel service innovation and value enhancement strategies. This paper, using value chain theory as a reference, identifies the value composition of the hotel service industry by comparing and analyzing the value chain structure and implementation processes of the business and general service industries. It then analyzes ways to enhance hotel value and provides some suggestions for hotel service innovation and value enhancement. A crucial factor in hotel value is service quality, which depends on good management and well-trained staff. The hotel industry can provide significant opportunities to sell profitable additional products such as food and beverages, entertainment, or exhibition and convention services. Rates are then determined according to the level of differentiation achieved through location, management, staff-to-guest ratios, and other factors such as the quality of architecture, decoration, furnishings and equipment, layout, or interior design.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Nabil Asrar https://ejournal.lppmbinabangsa.ac.id/index.php/vierendeel/article/view/280 EVALUASI KINERJA JALAN KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE PCI DAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS (ArcGIS) 2025-09-11T12:13:34+00:00 Muhammad Ilham Fitriaji milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com Asmuni Asmuni milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com Tiara Nofiana milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com
This research aims to evaluate road performance using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and Geographic Information System (ArcGIS) methods in assessing road conditions in Pandeglang Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach and spatial analysis with ArcGIS. The research results show that the PCI value from each survey location point varies between 55% to 85%, with Jalan KH. Abdul Halim experienced the worst condition. So spatial analysis using ArcGIS helps identify locations of road damage that need to be addressed immediately. This research concludes that the combination of PCI and ArcGIS methods can be an effective tool in planning and managing road infrastructure in Pandeglang Regency. The results of this research have significant implications for local government policies and regarding road infrastructure management. Local governments need to allocate sufficient budget for routine road maintenance, especially on roads with low PCI values. Apart from that, efforts need to be made to increase the capacity of human resources in conducting surveys and analyzing road conditions.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Ilham Fitriaji, Asmuni, Tiara Nofiana https://ejournal.lppmbinabangsa.ac.id/index.php/vierendeel/article/view/283 EARNED VALUE ANALYSIS TERHADAP BIAYA WAKTU PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG STUDI KASUS PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG PEMBELAJARAN MUHAMMADIYAH KOTA SAMARINDA 2025-09-11T12:13:40+00:00 Muhammad Nabil Asrar muhammadnabilasrar@gmail.com
Control in the Muhammadiyah Learning Building Project in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, still uses a traditional concept that only analyzes variances and schedules separately, thus failing to identify performance issues within ongoing activities. Therefore, a project control system utilizing appropriate methods is needed to effectively and efficiently control the project. The method used to evaluate this project is the earned value method, which involves distributing questionnaires to contractors involved and those experienced in project management, assisted by Microsoft Office Excel. The earned value method includes three indicators: planned value, earned value, and actual cost. Variance analysis, performance index analysis, and cost and project completion time estimates are also used to identify any discrepancies between costs and time. This allows for cost and time control measures. The analysis results from June 2017 to October 2017 showed that the work was behind schedule. Meanwhile, for the first week of June 2017 to September 2017, the cost was higher than the budget, while for the second week of September 2017 to October 2017, the cost was lower than the budget.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Nabil Asrar https://ejournal.lppmbinabangsa.ac.id/index.php/vierendeel/article/view/281 ANALISIS KINERJA SALURAN DRAINASE TERHADAP DEBIT AIR HUJAN 2025-09-11T12:13:36+00:00 Fajar Fajar Fajarsejahter07@gmail.com Ira Damayanti Fajarsejahter07@gmail.com Asmuni Asmuni Fajarsejahter07@gmail.com
The research methodology includes hydrological analysis using probability distribution models (Normal, Log-Normal, Log Pearson Type III, and Gumbel) to estimate design rainfall intensity. Goodness-of-fit tests such as Chi-Square and Smirnov-Kolmogorov were conducted to validate the distributions. The Rational Method was used to calculate design discharge, and hydraulic analysis using the Manning formula was performed to evaluate the drainage channel capacity. The results indicated that several drainage sections were unable to accommodate peak discharge, leading to water accumulation and localized flooding.

Based on the analysis results, the Q value of the drainage channel plan is 0.144 m3/second based on the rational method calculatio,. and the existing Q value is 1.933 m3/second based on the calculation of the existing channel capacity. Thus, the channel capacity has met the requirements of SNI 1725:2016 concerning Procedures for Planning Urban Drainage Systems because the planned Q value is smaller than the existing Q value. This means that the channel can still be used.
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Fajar, Ira Damayanti, Asmuni https://ejournal.lppmbinabangsa.ac.id/index.php/vierendeel/article/view/279 PENGARUH UKURAN VARIASI AGREGAT KASAR 1/2, 2/3 DAN SCREENING DENGAN PASIR GALIAN TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN BETON 2025-09-11T12:13:42+00:00 Nurdiansyah Nurdiansyah milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com Tiara Nofiana milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com Cahyadi Cahyadi milhamfitriaji1@gmail.com
Concrete is widely used in construction for its compressive strength, making compressive strength testing a key quality indicator. Low-grade concrete such as K-150 (Fc′ 12.5 MPa) is still applied in non-structural works but must meet minimum strength standards. This study observes the compressive strength development of K-150 concrete at 7, 14, and 28 days following SNI 7656:2012, using 15×30 cm cylindrical specimens made from Portland cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, water, and admixtures if needed. Results show that coarse aggregate size affects strength; at 28 days, split 2/3 aggregate achieved the highest strength (11.444 MPa), followed by split 1/2 (11.274 MPa) and screening (8.152 MPa). The novelty lies in using excavation sand with varying coarse aggregate sizes, offering a more economical, environmentally friendly, and locally adaptable concrete solution
2025-05-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Nurdiansyah Nurdiansyah, Tiara Nofiana, Cahyadi Cahyadi
